I am committed to the quest  of finding the best vineyards from the best people, with the best wines I can possibly import. This adventure is personal. My focus is on Estate Grown vineyards, mainly from Spain. I seek special vineyards, run by people with integrity.  This is the fundamental base of Table 31 Imports.

My career in wine hit me like a hurricane while I was attending a Jadot seminar tasting at Keystone Resort, Colorado. The year was 1996. I was absolutely mesmerized by the map, the soil, the tasting book...all of it.  From that point, I worked through several positions at Keystone Resort, always seeking wine positions to expand my knowledge base. While I was the wine buyer at the Keystone Lodge, I earned two Wine Spectator awards.​

In 1998, I was the General Manager at Great Northern Tavern in Keystone. While sitting at Great Northern's Table # 31, the concept of importing wine was born. This was the genesis of Table 31 Imports.

Simultaneously while launching Table 31, I also spent the next 17 years as a retail wine buyer. This is where I cultivated more knowledge of regions, varietals and vineyards. I traveled though many wine regions to have a first hand experience of their operations.

That's the brief story, with many layers in between.​
